ABOUT ME

For me, succulents start with family

I’m a speech-language pathologist by profession and a succulent enthusiast at heart. My passion for succulents is deeply rooted in my family. That’s where this love first began.

During the 2020 pandemic, after the loss of my father, I turned to these beautiful and resilient plants for comfort. Caring for them became a source of peace and healing, offering me a quiet strength during a difficult time.

Since then, I’ve been creating succulent arrangements that bring a touch of nature into people’s homes. I also lead hands-on workshops where I share general information about succulents, design techniques for creating beautiful arrangements, and the deeper joy, resilience, and calmness that these plants offer, along with the simple pleasure of nurturing something that grows with ease.

About my dad and my passion for succulents

Losing my dad in 2018 was incredibly hard. During the 2020 lockdown, I found solace in my backyard. Discovering succulent propagation—watching new life grow from a simple cutting—became a powerful symbol of healing, legacy, and continuation.

It brought me peace, hope, and strength. Cultivating succulents and making succulent arrangements not only helped me through my grief, but also sparked a deep passion for these resilient plants.
